Tell us a bit about your business, when did you set it up and why?

I am an artist/designer. My work ranges from TV ident, murals, digital installation to carbon neutral NFTs with one mission in mind — to spread optimism. I believe that the more happy we are collectively, the better the world is going to be. I shifted my focus on art in 2019 when my business mentor told me to sell myself as an artist rather than focusing on selling products and never looked back!

What has been your most favourite work project?

My ITV collaboration with neuroscientist Dr Tara Swart. It was a dream from start to finish. I had a vision to create the ‘optimum optimism’ by combining art and science. ITV matched me with Dr Tara. Together we created a series of xR motion graphics that induce happy hormones in our brains.

What did you wish you had known when you started out in business?

There is a community like Found & Flourish and you don't need to struggle alone.

What's the hardest part of running a business?

Never seem to be enough time to do everything I want to do.

What are your top three tips for anyone struggling within your industry?

1. Creativity knows no limit, including time. Agree on the budget, how many iterations you can have and the deadline. Otherwise inspiration might never happen.

2. But remember cheap, good, fast don’t come together.

3. When you hire a designer or artist, don’t solutionise the visual outcome but tell them your ethos, concept and what you want to achieve. A good creative will digest them all and come up with a good solution.

What does it mean to you to flourish?

It means having abundance of opportunities to spread optimism for you, me and everyone in the world.

How can we support you and your business?

I would love to collaborate with cosmetics, fashion and F&B brands to spread optimism to a wide audience. If you are interested in delighting your customer with joyful colours and shape, get in touch.
